Apart from a brief flirtation with track and cross country running as a junior, it wasn’t until 2008 that Celine discovered the pleasure of running. It was instant love and since then she has been running all sorts of distances on a multitude of terrains. An avid cross country and trail runner, Celine has enjoyed competing in local, county and national cross country events, even travelling to Stockholm to run the Lidingöloppet 30k XC race – billed as the largest XC race in the world. Celine has also completed 12 trail marathons and 3 road marathons including Brighton in 2019 where she achieved a GFA time.
Celine soon discovered that adventure running was her true love and with the encouragement of running friends, ventured into self-navigational events and ultimately onto the fells. Celine completed her first Cat AL fell race running over the Helvellyn range in 2018 and can’t wait to go back.
Celine has been a professional dog walker for many years and enjoys running in the hills with the dogs, much to the chagrin of her cats.
