EVENING SUMMER 10KM
Join us for an evening summer 10km guided trail run through the beautiful woods and open ridge lines of the Chiltern Hills! We will be running through beautiful woods and getting the best of the evening light in this small social run with just two running groups. Each group will be running at conversational pace, the first around a reference pace of 60 minutes or less for a road 10km and the second around 70 minutes or less for a road 10km (this is not the pace we will be running at!).
As with all Run the Wild events, you will be grouped with similar ability runners and led by one of our experienced Run Leaders. We walk anything too steep and it’s a good opportunity to get some trail running tips from our leaders along the way. The event is expected to finish before 8.30pm.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
“I did a guided 10km at the weekend – my first Run the Wild event and my first trail run. Really well organised, lovely friendly welcome at the registration desk. Lucy was a super friendly and knowledgeable guide who took us along a beautiful, shady route (thank you!). Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, no was left behind and the pace was comfortable. Thanks so much for looking after me! x”
“I took part in my first group 10k at Ashridge last Sunday and have to say how much I enjoyed it. The group leader Harriet was great. It was a relaxed run and she was very aware of everyone’s abilities and adapted accordingly, especially considering how warm it was. As a novice runner / it was a very enjoyable experience and enough to give me confidence to aim for the half marathon in October.”

GILL | JUNE 2021
“Great mornings run. Thanks so much – we loved it. Gorgeous route on a gorgeous day!”
LISA | JUNE 2021
“I had the brilliant experience of running some trails with the amazing Run the Wild. We ran a chatty paced 10k with a couple of stops to hear a little local history and to pick up some running tips If you fancy perfect trails, with no pressure, in good company, go check them out!”
