George has been running since school but fell in love with the trails more recently when he moved to Berkhamsted and joined his first Run the Wild event as a punter back in 2018. Since then, he has completed most of the UK roster and for his 40th birthday ran the amazing 6 day TMB trip in the Alps. He still aims to do a few marathons, or Ultra marathons every year. His ambition is to one day run the Cape Wrath Ultra down the West Coast of Scotland.
Outside of running, George’s day (and sometime evening job!) is as an actor, so the transition to guiding seemed a logical next step. He loves generally being outdoors, learning about the history and geography of the area he walks or runs in, and looks forward to offering tips, advice and facts when he joins you on a future event!
