WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“Run the Wild is a spectacular tour company and we would highly recommend them for anyone looking to run TMB or any of their tours. They took care of us every step of the way, including organizing all accommodations and food, debriefs each night with preparations for the next day, and teaching moments on running, such as using poles and down hill techniques. The timing of each day allowed us ample time to rest in the afternoon and take in the local area. Highlights included coffee and cake stops each day, great accommodations, champagne and medals at the end and a fabulous and experienced guide. Our guide, Simon, was fun, informed about the local culture and geography and an added bonus he was also a great photographer capturing memories along the way providing us with the photos at no extra cost. This is a bucket list trip and Run the Wild team are great, down to earth people who love what they do and have gone out of their way to ensure their clients are happy and have the best possible experience. 10/10”

“Incredible trip from start to finish — brilliantly organised and completely stress-free. The group was fantastic, a great mix of people all brought together by a love of trail running.

The trails were stunning, especially that Day 3 downhill — still thinking about it!

Can’t wait for the next one. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great running adventure with a real sense of community.”

“We had such a great experience with the Run the Wild team in the Alps, they know loads about the trails and local area in and around Mont Blanc. We felt safe, challenged enough, but at a level that everyone could complete the runs each day. The hotel was in a lovely spot, with pool and spa access and very convenient opposite Chamonix Sud bus stop. We had opted for the yoga add on which made for an excellent cool-down each afternoon. Can’t wait for another adventure soon!”

JEN | CHILTERNS TRAIL MARATHON | APRIL 2026

trail runners in the chilterns taking part in the run the wild half marathon in the springtime

“Thank you Run the Wild for another great morning of running. I love running with Run The Wild, Ive done their 10k and the half marathon twice (which used different routes). They have runs of varying length, and every one of their events is well organised, with enthusiastic and friendly professional guides who look after you during the run and give you helpful trail running tips. They also have great merchandise available. It really is not a race, there is nothing competitive about it. You are grouped up with people of a similar running ability, and you run the route together at a conversational pace. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to look at the surrounding scenery and take photos (and plenty of group photos as well), as well as getting to meet some lovely people. There is a well stocked rest station about half way around the route with drinks and snacks. Be warned that it is a hilly route, but most of the trails are good quality. I’d highly recommend Run the Wild, and look forward to running with them again in the future.”

Trail runners in the Chiltern Hills taking part in a Run the Wild half marathon event

Fantastic organisation! Me and my sister came to Run the Wild because we wanted to try trail running with some nice people. They did not disappoint!

We got grouped up based on our pacing. We decided to go in the last group which meant we could enjoy the scenery, have a good chat while getting some good miles in (13.7 precisely!) Our group guide, Andy, was the perfect balance of friendly, supportive and encouraging. He taught us lots about the local area of the Chilterns and gave us some helpful tips for running up and down hills (no longer quite the enemy they were before).

The check point had the most amazing spread of snacks and drinks! The route itself was beautifully scenic and varied – views for days and stunning woodland trails. All of the other staff we met were incredibly friendly. Their merch is all very high quality and beautifully designed. It’s clearly a well organised event, super inclusive and really fun! If you’re nervous about running in groups or long distances, you’ll be in safe hands with Run the Wild. I just wish I lived closer or I’d be back sooner!
