In this new series we will be focussing on some key elements that will help you transition from road running to trail running. We believe trail running is for ALL and is a great way to de-stress and get some endorphins flowing, but we also recognise that it can be a little challenging for those who haven't a lot of experience on trails, or just want to get some top tips. All our guides are qualified and experienced runners and provide a fun, supportive, informative and safe environment for you to become a more confident trail runner. As with all our events we are inclusive and match abilities of runners to ensure maximum fun!
We will start each run at the Musette Cafe, based in the quintessentially English village of Aldbury. We will end the run back at the cafe which is a great place to get a post run refreshment! Both events will follow a different route, the first 6km and the second 8km, they will also have a different focus. These will include running form, balance and stability, as well as endurance. By booking both events (using the booking form below) you can take advantage of the discounted price of £25.
We have safe COVID-19 working practices in place which ensure social distancing and maximum numbers are relevant to current government guidelines, currently 1 guide per 5 clients. Your safety and enjoyment are our priority.
The event is easily accessible, just 40 minutes North West of London by rail or road and there is free on-site parking for all runners. As with all Run the Wild events, it's a team event so you will be grouped with similar ability runners and led by one of our experienced Run Leaders who will route find and set the pace for you. We walk anything too steep and it's a good opportunity to get some trail running tips from our leaders along the way.
