Simon James – Founder
In 2013, Simon founded one of the first dedicated trail running adventure companies – Run the Wild. He’s an International Mountain Leader.
Karin Voller – Head Guide & Coach
Karin is an experienced ultra runner, frequently gaining podium positions in popular ultra runs and multi-day ultras in the UK.
Lottie & Bailey – RtW Team Mascots
Lottie and Bailey are sometimes seen on Run the Wild adventures. They are the ultimate trail runners and also offer free cuddles at all times.
Adeline Pihuit – Alps Run Leader
Adeline grew up in a small village in the North of France, and discovered the pleasure of hiking in the Alps during summer holidays with her family.
Alistair Crompton – Alps Run Leader
Alistair was first introduced to the Alps on a school skiing trip at the age of eleven and has been in love with mountains ever since.
Alister Bignell – Alps Run Leader
Al has devoted much of his life to the outdoors, and is particularly fond of adventures in the mountains. Al’s enthusiasm and experience is unparalleled.
Astrid Renet- Alps Run Leader
Astrid loves helping other connect with the natural world and lives locally in the town of Passy.

Aurelien runs with the philosophy that the mountains are not a place for mere “consumption,” but a unique, fragile environment that must be respected.

Bruno is an International Mountain Leader, trail running and hiking guide. He’s from Jersey and loved the outdoors from a young age,

Ninon Chaput – Alps Run Leader
Ninon grew up in the Chamonix valley and is passionate about reconnecting with nature and the freedom created by the movement of running.
Noam Ben Tsion – Alps Run Leader
Noam gets his energy from sharing adventures with others and it’s this passion that lead him to become an International Mountain Leader. For him being outside, in nature, is what it’s all about.
Adrian Fails – UK Run Leader
Adrian knows the rewards of getting out for a long run and is keen to help others make the most of them too.
Andy Neill – UK Run Leader
Andy’s first love remains the local trails. Most days involve a few miles through the woods, enjoying again the breathtaking views.
Celine Wilcock – UK Run Leader
Apart from a brief flirtation with track and cross country running as a junior, it wasn’t until 2008 that Celine discovered the pleasure of running.
Harriet Lampey – UK Run Leader
Harriet owes her running journey to her lovely pooch Lola. They’ve run many trails together, from the bottom of Cornwall to the top of Scotland, but are still happiest when out running at home around the Chilterns together.
Kat Sizer – UK Run Leader
Kat is a local trail runner and loves exploring the wonderful Chilterns. She loves climbing and works as a physio specialising in major trauma rehab.
Katie Van De Linde – UK Run Leader
Katie has a passion for running. After a brief spell as a County runner at junior level, her love affair with running really took off in the last 8 years.

Liz has enjoyed running for as long as she can remember.
Lucy Hume – UK Run Leader
Lucy has been a keen runner since 2010 completing several marathons she is now making her way into the world of ultra distances.
Lynda Hembury – UK Run Leader
Lynda has has always loved the outdoors, but only discovered running recently, but found she loved it and set a new British record in the marathon.
Mark Hadaway – UK Run Leader
Mark has always had a keen interest in sport having played football from an early age. He went onto play semi-professional football.

Matt has been passionate about running since his early years, weaving it into a fitness journey whilst ‘being distracted’ by rugby, kickboxing, and climbing
Nick Crowther – UK Run Leader
Nick loves to run. Over the last 10 years, Nick has completed 16 marathons and ultra marathons both on road and on the trails.
Phil Robbins – UK Run Leader
Phil is an ultra runner who is fond of a challenge and has a bit of a thing for maps! Having started out as a broke graduate he’s come a long way!
